I started doing some creative writing shortly after retiring from my day-job in June, 2015. I was an English major in college and have re-kindled a love for literature via a monthly family book group.  I was inspired to retry my own hand at writing while attending a 3-week retreat in Brazil in July, 2015.  I’ll be posting some of my writings since then, as well as new pieces as they emerge.  In short, this blog is my vehicle for assembling a writer’s portfolio.  Your comments or suggestions are most welcome in the CONTACT page; or you may write me at JohnJBayerl@gmail.com.
